We’re committed to reaching young audiences at the start of their musical discovery. Each of our Brighton Dome concerts has £1 children’s tickets, and our Under-30s scheme offers young adults £10 tickets and invitations to behind-the-scenes events to engage more deeply with the music.
We work closely with local schools and youth groups; in the 2025-26 season, we met over 700 students in workshops and masterclasses and welcomed hundreds of children to our concerts on free tickets courtesy of Travelbound.
Our exciting new chamber ensemble, Brighton Spring, is building an educational network across Sussex and the South East by presenting chamber concerts and masterclasses at local schools.
‘It’s clear that schools in the state sector are under-funded and stretched and I’ve been proud to see BPO make great in-roads this year. Our education projects have reached hundreds of pupils across eight local schools, with ambitious plans to expand this reach next year.’ – BPO Chairman Jon Brigden
