Guy Morley General Manager

 

Guy is known for diversity, his approach to arts programming displays flair and style putting the venues, organisations and festivals he has worked with firmly on the map, winning large audiences.

He produces events and music through his company No Nation. Most recently this has included:

Managing the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra with their new Music Director Joanna MacGregor.

Event Production from Grace Jones’ Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre to Asian Dub Foundation’s scoring a live soundtrack to George Lucas’ Film THX 1138

Artist Management and touring for Congolese band Orchestre Les Mangelepa and for the English folk singer and song collector Shirley Collins

Music production, Producing a the album, Last Band Standing for Les Mangelepa on Strut Records. Co-producing a new album for Grace Jones

Consultancy includes:

Fund-raising and management for Asian Dub Foundation

Music programming for Warwick Arts Centre

Developing Cuba’s first electronic music festival Manana

The British Council on the music industry in East Africa

Gill joins us from the Music Teachers Association. Her role is to ensure the smooth running of the orchestra. From communication with members to concert management, she touches every part of how the orchestra is managed.
