Electrifying Classical Concerts in Brighton and Beyond

Thanks to everyone who joined us last week at Brighton Dome for our Season Launch Party! 🌟

We were delighted to see so many people, including lots of new faces, and to receive such positive comments about the new concerts.

Our Music Director Joanna MacGregor revealed her bold new programme for 2025/26, and guests were the first to get their hands on our gorgeous new season brochure. We were then treated to live music from two of our fabulous BPO percussionists – complete with tap dancing!

If you enjoyed the evening, join us as a member for just £35 for invitations to more live music, open rehearsals and social events year-round.

All concerts are now on sale. Download a copy of our season brochure or browse the concerts on our website. You can book your tickets online or with Brighton Dome Ticket Office on 01273 709709.

Don’t forget, you can save 20% when booking three or more of our concerts in Brighton Dome Concert Hall… or 25% when booking all seven!

We’re thrilled to be bringing another year of electrifying classical concerts to Brighton Dome and beyond, for all ages and backgrounds. We can’t wait to see you in September to kick off our new season – and our second century.

What’s New for 2025/26

Whether you’re a long-time supporter of Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra or fresh to the family, we’re delighted to welcome you to our new season of concerts.

We’re bringing more world-class soloists to Brighton Dome. Look out for tenor Mark Padmore, prize-winning pianist Junyan Chen, Classical Brits cellist Guy Johnston and Brazilian percussionist Adriano Adewale. There’ll be orchestral favourites by Mahler, Mozart and Britten mingling with the ethereal beauties of John Tavener, Delius and Vaughan Williams.

We’ll be celebrating film soundtracks by Michael Nyman, Max Richter’s Vivaldi Recomposed and Wynton Marsalis’ fabulous jazz concerto for trumpet. We’ll even be premiering a specially composed piano and percussion concerto by our own Joanna MacGregor.

Christmas concerts include Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker and our sell-out A Christmas Carol, narrated by Alistair McGowan and this year visiting three different venues in Kemptown, Petworth and Lewes.

We’re also launching an exciting new collaboration with Brighton College, extending our music to more young people through the Autograph concert series. Joanna MacGregor and BPO principal players present three full-length recitals, opening with scintillating solo piano in September. Each concert will be accompanied by a short masterclass for students in the afternoon.
