By becoming a Friend or a Patron you can help to ensure that the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra continues bringing pleasure to thousands of classical music lovers every year.

The BPOs aim is to provide enjoyable, varied, professional concerts at affordable prices. In order to do this the orchestra relies on the support of its parent organisation, the Brighton & Hove Philharmonic Society, a registered charity comprised of around ‘the Friends of the Philharmonic’.

The income from Friends’ subscriptions and donations contributes around £15,000 a year to the BPO’s concerts, helping the orchestra perform the wide range of repertoire that its audiences enjoy.

Becoming a Friend or Patron makes you a vital part of the BPO’s activities and, in addition to helping support the orchestra, Friends enjoy a number of benefits including:

Join presenter Peter Back as he interviews one of the performers before each concert, for a fascinating insight into the music and the life of a musician. (Tickets £3 each)

Free printed and online programmes
The BPO’s concert programmes are included in the price of your ticket. With a welcome from Barry Wordsworth, programme notes and information on the performers, they provide an in-depth look at the concert.
