Act One of The Nutcracker [50']

A concert for children of all ages featuring a wealth of characters from children's literature. Harry Potter, The Snowman and the Mouse King lead us through magical kingdoms of musical enchantment where feats of flying and derring-do become commonplace. A work each from the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty first centuries. In the midst of the childhood fantasies, the music is evocative and memorable.

1.45PM
Pre-concert interview onstage with Juliette Pochin and members of the BPO.
