BBC Young Musician of the Year in 1984 Emma Johnson has gone on to become one of the most recognised musicians of her generation. She has devised this programme around the world premiere of Will Todd's' new clarinet concerto written for her and also including the ever-popular Mozart Concerto. The 200th anniversary of Haydn's death is marked with the Miracle symphony and the programme concludes with the gypsy inspired Dances of Galanta.
