Bringing the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth to an end, this concert features three of his best-loved works alongside a rediscovered and reconstructed rarity, a symphony by his father, Leopold, and a piano concerto by his son, Franz Xaver.

One of the country's finest horn players returns to the BPO alongside Guest Conductor Howard Shelley who - like Mozart - directs the orchestra from the piano.
