Mussorgsky and Rimsky-Korsakov conjure up a terrifying vision of a witch's sabbath and Ravel adds his masterful touches of orchestral colour to the most famous exhibition of musical pictures.

French composer Eduard Lalo provides a vivid impression of Spain in a flamboyant violin concerto and an authentic Spanish touch comes from Emmanuel Chabrier's 'picturesque piece'.
